Washington Veale Elementary is one of 283 schools across the state being recognized by Governor Eric J. Holcomb and Indiana Secretary of Education Dr. Katie Jenner for having at least 95% of students demonstrate reading proficiency.

Fourth-grade teacher Taylor Conley recently added STEM Education to her license through a new partnership program with the Indiana Department of Education and the Education Service Centers of Indiana that funds coursework for teachers seeking full licensure.
